Try these words in embroidery cursive

Embroiderers need vector outlines for digitising into PES/JEF/DST or printed templates to trace onto fabric. Curvioo exports both. Type your name or word, download the SVG into Embrilliance or Hatch for machine stitching, or print the PNG at hoop size and transfer with a heat pen for hand stitching.

For hand embroidery, our Cursive Classic and Brush Signature back-stitch cleanly. For machine satin-fill, the thicker downstrokes of Bold Cursive give the smoothest result.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about converting text into cursive.

How do I use Curvioo cursive fonts for hand embroidery?

Type your word or name above, download the PNG, and print at the exact size of your embroidery hoop. Transfer the outline to your fabric with carbon paper, a heat-transfer pen, or a water-soluble stabiliser, then back-stitch or split-stitch along the lines.

Can I convert these cursive fonts to a machine embroidery file?

Curvioo exports SVG, which most digitising software (Embrilliance, Hatch, SewArt) can convert to PES, JEF, DST, EXP, and other machine embroidery formats. The clean vector strokes digitise cleanly into satin or running stitches.

What stitch works best for cursive embroidery?

For thin scripts use a back-stitch or split-stitch following the SVG outline. For bolder scripts use satin stitch (or chain stitch) to fill the thicker downstrokes. Brush Signature and Bold Cursive are the easiest to fill with satin.

Is the SVG cursive output free for commercial embroidery work?

Yes. The artwork you generate is yours to use commercially — on hats, towels, jackets, etc. The Google Fonts behind each style are SIL Open Font License (commercial use allowed).
